Berean Baptist Church has various ministries which are all designed to reach people and help them develop their walk with the Lord. We invite you to find a place here to serve the Lord and strengthen your life in Christ!
Adult Bible Study Classes
Each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. we have an interactive Bible Study class for all adults. A teacher leads a study on a relevant cultural topic, using Scripture to make biblical applications. Other times, the teacher will lead an in-depth study of a particular Bible passage. In recent years we have had studies through the Jewish Feasts, Creation & Evolution, and Church History.
Each month, on a Sunday evening, during our regular Sunday p.m. service time, our Young Married Bible Study comes together for a time of fellowship, Bible study, and discussion.

Children's Ministry
Our Children's Sunday School classes meet every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM for ages 3 through the 6th grade. Students engage with God's Word and are taughty systematically through the entire Bible over a 2-3 year period reinforcing the whole of God's Redemption Plan of Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Restoration.
On Wednesday nights during the school year (Sep - May) we have an exciting program for children ages 4 through the 6th grade called Kids4Truth. Students learn Bible verses, basic Bible teachings, and practical Bible applications. They also learn about missionaries and earn prizes, awards, and do quarterly presentations to our church family.
During the summer months, we host a Vacation Bible School for ages 4 through the 6th grade and some summers, as we are able, a Kids Club on Wednesday nights.
Youth Ministry
Our Teen Ministry gathers every Sunday at 9:30 AM for a time of prayer and meaningful discussion centered on God's Word. Together, they explore the truths of the Bible, learning how to apply them in their daily lives.
On Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM, the teens come together again for deeper Bible study and to build friendships through fun and encouraging fellowship. Teens also earn yearly trips to enhance their spiritual walk with the Lord and their relationships with one another.
Men’s Ministries
Men’s Ministries provides a space for men to grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and become the men God has called them to be. The group meets bi-monthly for breakfast and Bible study—times of encouragement, honest conversation, and practical teaching from God’s Word.
These gatherings help men strengthen their walk with Christ while connecting with others who are walking similar paths. In addition to fellowship and study, there are meaningful opportunities to serve the church family—such as joining the security team, helping with facility needs, or serving as an usher during services. Whether you're new in your faith or looking to deepen it, Men’s Ministries offers a place to grow, lead, and serve together.
Women's Ministry
Our Women’s Ministries provide opportunities for women to grow in their faith and build meaningful relationships. We meet monthly for Bible study, offering encouragement and time in the Word together. During the summer, we host fun and creative craft classes, and throughout the year we enjoy occasional trips that foster connection and community.
Youth Ministry
Our Teen Ministry meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM for an interactive and Bible-centered Sunday School class designed specifically for teens. This weekly gathering is a time of encouragement, connection, and spiritual growth as students dive into God’s Word and learn how to apply its truths in real-life situations—at home, at school, and in their relationships.
In addition to Sunday mornings, teens participate in bi-monthly activities that range from fun outings and service projects to youth rallies and special events. These gatherings help foster meaningful friendships and create lasting memories, all while reinforcing biblical values in a welcoming, Christ-centered environment. Our goal is to equip teens to grow in their faith, develop a heart for God, and stand strong in today’s world.
College Ministries
Every Monday evening when school is in session, we meet for a Bible study on the campus of Purdue University through the Cross Impact Campus Ministry.
Our college & career (young adult/single adults) get together each semester for an activity at someone's home or at an event in the area, in addition to other gatherings.
Nursery
Our nursery provides a safe, loving environment for children from birth through age 3 during Sunday School, the Morning Service, and our monthly Young Married Bible Study Group. Each child is cared for by dedicated church members who have completed background checks, so parents can attend services with confidence and peace of mind.
We’re committed to making sure your little ones are well cared for while you grow in your faith and connect with others in the church.
Deaf Ministry
We are blessed to have a highly skilled interpreter for the deaf who interprets during every service, including the adult Sunday school class. Also, we host a Bible study for the deaf every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. and BBC hosts an annual one-day conference for the deaf each Fall in cooperation with Silent Word Ministries. It is called "Fantastic Saturday" and in 2025, it will take place on Saturday, October 18. Occasionally BBC hosts activities and fellowships for the deaf community in the greater Lafayette area.

Our mission partnerships involve financial support coupled with a desire and effort to know our missionaries, their families, and their work. We commit ourselves to faithfully pray for our mission partners and to respond to their special needs when they arise. Each week a missionary is highlighted in our Midweek Prayer Bulletin and our Weekly Connection email. We share communications, pray together for them, and encouragement is given to regular prayer for them outside of our assemblies.
Their names are not posted for security reasons. They serve in the United States, Germany, Peru, Chile, Indonesia, Kenya, and Myanmar.

Our Music Ministry is dedicated to glorifying God through traditional and special music. Opportunities to serve include choir, vocal ensembles, soloists, piano, organ, and other instrumental roles. Congregational singing is a vital part of our worship services, uniting the church family in praise and heartfelt worship.

Our Audio/Video Ministry plays a vital role in supporting worship and outreach through technology. Our sound booth is equipped with quality sound and video systems, along with livestreaming capabilities.
We use SermonAudio (sermonaudio.com) as our livestreaming platform and online sermon archive. In addition to hosting our live services and sermon catalog, SermonAudio provides a small webpage for our church, a location service, and access to articles on a variety of biblical topics.

Kitchen
The Kitchen Ministry serves behind the scenes to support church fellowship and special services through food preparation and hospitality. This team helps with meal prep and distribution for church pitch-ins, as well as preparing the elements for communion services. It’s a meaningful way to serve others and help create a welcoming atmosphere for the church family.
