Lessons for the Church
This is the final message of a series challenging us to a "fresh vision" of the church. The series examined 1 Corinthians 12-14. This particular message looks back at that study and challenges our church in five ways.

1. We need to work at maintaining and developing the biblical model of the church as a body.
2. We need to keep a truly biblical perspective on Spiritual gifts.
3. We need to hold convictions about the cessation of particular New Testament gifts.
4. We need to maintain the primacy and exclusivity of biblical authority, and a "Berean" mentality.
5. We need to authentically apply the principles found in the instructions for the church a Corinth and relate to those who do not, in a biblical way.
a. Word-centered in our church ministries, even our music.
b. Everything done decently and in order.
c. Separation from those who hold to unscriptural doctrine or practices.
